Britain’s Next Top Model visits LMB

An east London trading estate might seem like an unlikely setting for a fashion shoot but when Living TV’s Britain’s Next Top Model asked LMB to host an episode on recycled fashion we were only too happy to help.

A cold Friday in February saw the LMB warehouse transformed from humble recycling facility into a fabulous fashion location as TV presenter Lisa Snowdon and photographer Thierry shot models on our mountains of clothes, alongside the sorting chutes and even in our shipping containers.

As well as entertaining viewers with the bevy of beauties the show also offered an insight into just what happens to the nation’s unwanted clothes and the role of textile recyclers.

The show also featured models wearing a recycled clothing range from fashion’s king of customisation NOKI, whose designs made from discarded clothes and textiles prove that recycling clothes can be fashionable.

Britain’s Next Top Model Series 4 starts this spring on Living. You can catch the LMB episode on 16th June.
